Parkrun

Hull is home to 2 parkruns and 2 junior parkruns. parkrun is a collection of 5-kilometre running events that take place every Saturday morning at over 1,400 locations in twenty-two countries across five continents. Junior Parkrun is a spin-off event that provides a 2 kilometres run for children aged 4–14 weekly on a Sunday morning and is completely free!

We have parkruns in East Park and Peter Pan Park (Costello) every Saturday. With Junior runs every Sunday at Alderman Kneeshaw Recreational Ground and Peter Pan Park. A third Junior parkrun is poised to launch in March 2020 at King George V Playing Field (Cottingham Road).

On top of this there are parkruns just outside of Hull at Humber Bridge Country Park and at Beverley Westwood so there’s plenty of different runs to try and see which one you like best.
